The Institute collaborates with many Vietnamese organizations in its research and education programs, and particularly those based in the Mekong Delta.

International collaboration is a feature of the Institute’s work. Strong links exist between CLRRI and the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), the Food and Agricultural Organization, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Japanese International Research Center for Agricultural Science (JIRCAS), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and Lund University, among others.
