FARMING SYSTEM DEPARTMENT 

Cropping system Department is one of research units belonging to the Cuulong Rice Research Institute. Cropping system Department consists of two different disciplines viz., cropping systems and weed sciences as followings:

• Aims to study and develop the profitability rice based of cropping systems in the Mekong Delta
• Organize short term and long term training courses in cropping systems
• Collaboration with internal and external agencies about cropping systems 

Weed science:

• Aims to study and develop the integrated weed management in the Mekong Delta
• Organize short term and long term training courses in weed sciences
• Collaborate with internal and external agencies about weed science research.
