RESEARCH AGENDA Study on the insect biodiversity specially in conservation of insect specimens, insect classification. Study on the environmental pollution due to pesticide application. Study on the effect of pesticide use to the health of human community.
RESEARCH CONTENTS Study on the resistance of crop plants to specific insects. Study on the efficacy of chemical and biological pesticides on insect pests and their impacts to environment and organisms. Improve the integrated pest management procedures in rice and rice-based crops (soybean, mungbean, maize, cotton..) Participate the testing and management of genetic- modified organism to insect resistant crops
